Science Fiction Books for 12-15 year old boys?

Written by admin on April 6, 2009 – 1:28 pm -

Can anyone recommend any good science fiction books for 12-15 year old boys?

Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy, by Douglas Adams – don't mind the film, the books are excellent, and easy to read.
Any Discworld novel by Terry Pratchett.
I Robot, or any Isaac Asimov novel, I recommend I Robot as it is a series of short stories.
Red Dwarf by Grant Naylor., series of 3 or 4 books not sure, but perfect for 12-15's.

What are some good science fiction or fantasy books?

Written by admin on April 6, 2009 – 1:28 pm -

I like books that feature strange things happening to normal people (Not books based solely on fantsasy lands or different species.) I enjoy books where normal (or at least they think they are normal) people go on journeys or go through odd science fiction happenings.

Any suggestions?

Silverlock, by John Myers Myers (yes, that is his name.)

The Dragon and the George, by Gordon R Dickson

Anything by Lois McMaster Bujold

Anything by Larry Niven

Anything by David Weber, but especially the Honor Harrington stories

Enjoy.
