What are good short story books for 3rd grade students?

This is my first year teaching 3rd grade Literacy and I am having trouble finding short story books for read a louds. I know of “Where the Wild Things Are” “Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse” “Ira Sleeps Over” and any of the books by Allen Say and Patricia Pablaco. Anyone have anymore ideas on good books?

Silent Snow, Secret Snow part 1 of 2 (1966)

“Silent Snow, Secret Snow” (1934) is Conrad Aiken’s best-known short story, often included in anthologies of classic American horror and fantasy short fiction. It appeared in The Collected Stories of Conrad Aiken in 1934, and since then has been widely anthologized. The movie version from 1966 is a now nearly-forgotten version and produced by Gene Kearney, who also wrote some episodes of Night Gallery. In the past it was discussed if Paul Hasleman (the young boy) has Aspgerger’s Syndrome, but today it is believed by some that Paul might have Schizophrenia.
