I loved the Book of the Dead! In the back of that one (my paperback has it), there is a section that is a reader FAQ and it says if you were to read them in an order, they tell you what order to read them. If you don't have that section in yours, email me back at yahoo and I'll get it for you.
By the way, you seem like an "Egypto-phile"…have you ever read Wilbur Smith??? His Egyptian novels are awesome!!! References :
Great books and Pendergast is a great character. He shows up briefly in Relic where he's introduced. I think you should read Still Life with Crows first. You'll learn a lot about the character. Then Cabinet of Curiosities, which you already read. Brimstone, Dance of Death, Book of the Dead and the newest Wheel of Darkness, should be read in that order, as it all builds off each other. References :
Read all the books! THEN, pick up the copies of the audio books and you’ll be in for a bigger treat! Rene Aubergenois (sp?) does an excellent job of giving a ‘voice’ to Agent Pendergast. Delicious – like butter!
